START A DOG HIKING BUSINESS · THE REAL VERSION

SO YOU WANT TO HIKE DOGS FOR A LIVING.

Good. We actually built the damn thing. Then we kept going. We built the system behind it too: memberships, dog friendships, client-facing stats, scheduling, CRM, trail history, pack relationships, and the technology that turns a hiking service into a club people want their dog to belong to.

WE DIDN’T START
WITH A COURSE.

Hi Country Hounds started with one person, a few dogs, and a deeply unreasonable number of trail miles.

Then we realized the real opportunity was bigger than transportation plus exercise. Dogs were building friendships. Packs were becoming social circles. Clients wanted to know who their dog hiked with, how far they had gone, what was coming up, and whether their dog was becoming part of something.

So we built the infrastructure around that idea. HCH HQ became the operating brain. Scheduling feeds the day-to-day. The website becomes the member layer. Trail Club balances, hike history, dog miles, packmates, trail friends, besties, streaks, achievements, and eventually leaderboards all become visible instead of disappearing into the back office.

Today, HCH has a growing team of Trail Guides, recurring Trail Club revenue, a custom operating system, public-facing dog stats, and a business capable of five-figure months.

We built it by hiking dogs. Then we built the technology to make every hike worth more.

THE HIKING IS THE EASY PART.

Anybody can sell a hike. The moat is what happens around the hike: the data, the relationships, the recurring behavior, the member experience, and the operating system that makes the whole thing feel bigger than a service.

01

The Dog Graph

Every dog has a history. Who they hike with. How often. Which relationships repeat. Who their trail besties are. How connected they are to the club. We’re turning the social life of the pack into real, usable data.

02

Trail Intelligence

Hikes, dog miles, streaks, achievements, adventure history, pack size, favorite guides, busiest months, and the numbers that make clients feel the accumulation of everything their dog has done.

03

The Member Layer

Clients don’t just buy a pack and disappear. They can see credits, upcoming adventures, who their dog is hiking with, their history, their stats, and eventually rankings and leaderboards. The invisible work becomes visible value.

04

The Operating Brain

HCH HQ ties the whole thing together: dogs, owners, leads, credits, schedules, guides, pack relationships, notifications, milestones, and the information the website needs to serve back to members.

05

Competitive Belonging

Leaderboards. Milestones. Friend counts. Streaks. Dog miles. The point isn’t to turn dogs into spreadsheets. It’s to make the club feel alive, social, visible, and just competitive enough that people want their dog in it.

06

Brand + Growth Engine

The same data feeds marketing. Real friendships, real adventure counts, real milestones, real local dogs. The product creates the content, the content creates the proof, and the proof makes the next person want in.

YOU CAN COPY THE HIKE. YOU CAN’T COPY THE CLUB.

The system is the differentiator.
The system behind the service

BUILD YOUR VERSION. FASTER.

The product isn’t an hour of advice. It’s access to the operating logic, technology, and implementation behind Hi Country Hounds: HCH HQ architecture, scheduling, memberships, dog relationship data, client-facing stats, website integrations, brand systems, and the decisions that make the whole thing work together.

Built by an operator, not a course creator. Four years of actually running a dog hiking company, building routes, pricing the service, hiring guides, managing clients, and fixing the ugly parts in real time.
10+ years digital + social Experience building audiences and strategy for international consumer brands and public figures.
One connected system Business operations, member experience, data, brand, SEO, and growth built to reinforce each other.

Build the whole machine.

Start with an idea, an existing dog business, or a half-built operation. We work in defined engagements with an actual outcome, not random one-off calls. That might mean the business model and roadmap, the operating system itself, or the full client-facing build.

  • HCH HQ architecture
  • Scheduling + assignment logic
  • Membership + credit tracking
  • Dog friendships + pack relationships
  • Client-facing stats + website layer
  • Pricing, brand, SEO + growth

Not a franchise. Not a template.

The point isn’t to clone Hi Country Hounds. It’s to build the operating layer that makes your company harder to replace: your own memberships, your own dog community, your own data, your own client experience, and your own reason people choose you instead of the next person with a leash and a logo.

We don’t do one-hour brain dumps and send you home with six disconnected ideas. If we work together, there is a scope, a build, and something useful at the end of it.

No “unlock abundance.” No passive-income cosplay. No cookie-cutter franchise playbook. And no pretending software replaces knowing the dogs.

Build the part nobody else has

DON’T JUST START A DOG HIKING BUSINESS.

Build the club, the data, the member experience, and the operating system behind it. Tell me where you are, what you’ve built so far, and what you want the business to become.

No franchise pitch. No funnel. If it looks like a fit, we’ll figure out the right build.
