WHAT IS DOG HIKING??

Dog hiking is exactly what it sounds like: real outdoor adventures designed specifically for dogs.

Instead of a quick trip around the neighborhood, we take dogs on mountain trails throughout Evergreen, Conifer, Bailey, and the surrounding foothills. Every hike provides exercise, mental stimulation, new environments to explore, and plenty of opportunities to be a dog.

Our hikes are carefully matched by size, personality, and energy level. Some dogs are there for the miles. Others are there for the smells. Either way, they come home happy, tired, and ready for a nap.

Whether your dog needs an outlet for extra energy or simply loves being outside, dog hiking provides a level of enrichment that most neighborhood walks can’t match.

WHY DOGS LOVE HIKING

Exercise

Mountain trails provide far more physical exercise than a typical neighborhood walk, helping dogs burn energy in a healthy and productive way.

Mental Stimulation

New sights, smells, terrain, and environments keep dogs engaged and challenged throughout the hike.

Socialization

Many of our dogs hike together regularly and develop friendships with the other dogs in their group.

Adventure

Dogs were built to explore. Hiking gives them the opportunity to experience new places, follow interesting scents, and enjoy the outdoors.

Most dogs come home tired, happy, and ready for a long nap.

SMALL GROUP ADVENTURE HIKES

Many of our dogs hike together every week and get to know one another over time. Some even get excited when we pull up to a friend’s house for pickup.

By keeping our groups small and carefully matched, we’re able to create safe, structured adventures where dogs can enjoy both the trail and the company of other dogs.

It’s one of the reasons so many dogs look forward to hike day. They aren’t just getting exercise—they’re joining their trail crew.

Whether your dog is outgoing and social or simply enjoys hiking alongside other dogs, our small-group approach helps create a fun and enriching experience for everyone.
