Every dog begins solo. If you’re home, we’ll meet briefly before a 45–60 minute hike. If access is arranged, you don’t need to be there and your dog gets a full hour on the trail.

What should a new client book?
Choose First Hike if you want to try one standalone hike. If you already know regular hiking belongs in your dog’s life, join Trail Club and let the First Hike use credit one.
Do I need to be home?
Nope. Arrange access and we can handle pickup and return while you work, ski, head down the hill, or generally have a life.
How do Trail Club credits work here?
Book the service normally and choose Pay Later. We’ll deduct the correct credit from your household balance. Credits never expire.
Can I pay without a card?
Yep. Choose Pay Later and pay HCH through Venmo, Zelle, or cash. We’ll coordinate the details directly.
How long is my dog gone?
Usually 2–3 hours door to door, including pickup, transportation, trail time, and return. Regular hikes include a full hour minimum on the trail.
What if my dog needs a solo hike?
Every new dog starts solo, and ongoing solo hikes are available for dogs who need their own pace, space, or personal mountain staff.
